Where can I get good Stuart dental care?

Since you were young, you have been taught to brush your teeth. The question is, were you taught right? It’s not enough to simply buy a toothbrush, put pea-sized fluoride toothpaste on it and start randomly brushing your teeth. There are simple Stuart Dental Care rules you need to follow when brushing your teeth to keep dental cavities and gum disease at bay. Sure, brushing your teeth is a crucial part of your oral hygiene but if you are not executing it properly, you won’t be able to achieve healthy teeth and gums.

Rule Number 1: Brush Twice A Day For 2 Minutes

Brushing once is not enough unless you are only having a single meal a day. Ideally, you should brush your teeth twice in a day for a total duration of two minutes in every session. Brushing once is not enough to remove bacteria from your teeth and it does not prevent the build-up of plaque. Dental professionals always recommend that you brush your teeth for a total of two minutes. This time frame is enough to efficiently clean your mouth. Frequent and extensive brushing is counterproductive as it wears your enamel down and results to gum recession.

Rule Number 2: Don’t Be Harsh On Your Teeth

It’s easy to think that brushing hard makes your mouth cleaner. Well, this is completely wrong. Dental hygienists would always prefer a soft-bristled brush to hard-bristled brushes because they don’t harm your teeth and gums. When you brush, remember to be gentle. Position your soft-bristled brush sideways and tilt it at a 45-degree angle. Make short and light circular movements and repeat it on all sides of your teeth.

Rule Number 3: Floss After You Brush

There are areas in your mouth that your toothbrush can’t reach, which is why flossing is important. Flossing helps get rid of bacteria and plays a crucial part in preventing plaque. When plaque has already accumulated, it will be difficult to remove it on your own.
